Building Summer Wardrobe Series’ project is tops and blouses. Please check out my picks and let me know what you think!
The Gysophelia Peasant Top, a free pattern from Fabric.com. The soft cotton print fabric with pineapples and such will look good with my slim-leg orange pants!
Second, is a vintage Vogue 5211, so cute! It has a button-down back, with a pretty collar or without; a short-sleeve and/or no-sleeve. I would love it in the pretty pink floral fabric and, another using a garage-sale find, white cotton fabric with mini blue flowers! These fabric choices would look good with the white and hot pink shorts!
And finally, another vintage pattern, McCall’s 4284! Lovely, isn’t it? I am doing a sew-along with friend using this vintage beauty! My fabric choice is a crisp solid white cotton. It would look so wonderful with the shiny denim slim-leg pants!
First on the cutting table is the peasant top (muslin, first)!
Until next time…Happy Sewing!
